About/Biography
Panagiotis Argitis received his Degree in Chemistry from the University of Athens in 1981 and his Ph.D. in Photochemistry/Photocatalysis from the same University in 1987, having conducted his Thesis in Inst. of Physical Chemistry of NCSR Demokritos. In the period 1988-1991 was a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Texas at Austin and in 1991-92 had a teaching position in University of Crete. In 1992 joined the Inst. of Microelectronics of NCSR Demokritos. He is currently Director of Research leading the Project on Materials for Nanolithography and Organic Electronics. His main research interests include organic electronics with emphasis on patterning and interface engineering of optoelectronic devices, polyoxometalate applications in electronic devices, resist materials for sub 50 nm patterning and lithography for microsystems and nano-biotechnology applications.
