Lydia Gkoura received her B.Sc. degree in Physics in 2012 from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and in 2014 her M.Sc. in “Telecommunications Engineering and Electronics” from the same department. Since 2015 she is a PhD candidate at National and Technical University of Athens NTUA in the Chemical Engineering department, working at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos on the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Group. Her research interests include 1H NMR relaxation and diffusion studies of Ionic Liquids (in bulk form as well as confined in porous systems) and the development and application of advanced NMR and MRI methodologies in the study of multiphase flow processes in 1-D and 2-D porous systems, of the molecular dynamics of Ionic Liquids and of water diffusion in Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs).
