INN and nanotechnology hold a major part in the programme of NCSR Demokritos Summer School that is organized every year, in the beginning of July. INN participates with lectures and presentations of senior researchers, post-doctoral researchers and PhD candidates. The audience consists mainly of final year students and graduates that are interested in exploring new scientific paths and get informed on the latest scientific achievements. The Summer School attracts about 700 registrations per year. Besides lectures, INN researchers organize thematic round tables on several scientific and societal aspects of nanotechnology and their impact on the everyday life.
