Dr. Foteini Arfara is a chemist with expertise in polymer science and its industrial applications. She holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Chemistry from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her PhD research focused on synthesizing and characterizing nanocarriers for drug delivery. She participated in the "Research–Innovate" program with DEMO S.A., funded by ESPA. Dr. Arfara also received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Currently, she is a Research Associate at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, NCSR Demokritos. Her work involves developing advanced nanomaterials for optoelectronic devices like solar cells and LEDs. She has authored five scientific publications. Her research has been presented at various national and international conferences. Dr. Arfara is passionate about applying nanotechnology to solve real-world challenges.
