Development of micro/nano sctructures for security applications

ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

Konstantina Tourlouki is a PhD candidate at the University of Patras, working on "Fabrication of micro/nano structures for security applications". At the same time, she works in the Research and Development Department of Nanotypos, a company with extensive know-how in nano-manufacturing and imprint processes based on core expertise in biotechnology, sensors, optical, photonic and security applications. As a member of Nanotypos, she participates in both national and european research programs. She received her Bachelor from the Department of Materials Science, University of Patras in 2018 and then attended the "Applied Optoelectronics" Master Program at the same University. During her master studies she was a fellow in the program " HELLAS-CH, THE HIPER, ELI AND LASERLAB EUROPE SYNERGY & IPERION-CH.GR " and worked under a project lease in the program " SafeACL: Ligament reconstruction based on subject specific musculoskeletal and finite element models
". The experiments for her master thesis on "Cathode modification using chromophores in organic light emitting diodes for improved performance" were performed at the INN, NCSR "Demokritos" in 2020-2021. In 2021 she received her MSc. From her research work both at Bachelor and Master level, presentations at conferences and publications in scientific journals have emerged.
