Three dimensional models of objects can be recorded with a ‘Scan in a Box’ structured light scanner. The objects are placed on a computer controlled turntable, on which a line pattern is projected. In a sequence of different angles pictures are taken with a two camera system. The object can be turned in order to record pictures from other perspectives. At the end a full 3D model of the object is constructed by the software.
