CEM’s Discover LabMate, Focused Microwave Synthesis System enables chemical reactions with the use of microwave energy under controlled conditions on a laboratory scale. The core system facilitates either homogeneous or heterogeneous solution phase chemistry. It accommodates vessels ranging in volume from 5 mL to 125 mL for reactions performed under atmospheric conditions and a 10 mL vessel with septa for reactions performed at elevated temperatures and pressures. Furthermore, the system is equipped with a Gas Addition Kit which allows the addition of a gaseous reagent into the microwave reaction vessel.
