The sensing chip can be either electrical (capacitance or resistive) or optical (transmittance, reflectance) and the chamber can be temperature stabilized. It is equipped with three calibrated mass-flow controllers and a set of valves to supply either single analyte or mixture of gases in nitrogen or synthetic air.
