The NSCRD contribution has been on the design and synthesis of cyclodextrin derivatives with strong antimicrobial activity and the implementation of cyclodextrin-antibiotic inclusion complexes for antimicrobial compositions.

Apart from numerous publications, an EU patent has been filed (3/2019, pending. Published 30-09-2020).
