CARBONGREEN aims to develop experimental processes and technology to convert CO₂ of cement aw well other plants into solid nanocarbon materials such as graphene, CNTs, CNFs, etc., and fabricate novel composite cement and polymer products with improved properties.

The implementation of the project is accomplished by a research institute, NCSR Demokritos, that is the coordinator, and two large cement and resin manufacturers, TITAN Cement Group and MEGARA RESINS S.A., correspondingly.
