ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY
Dimitrios Nioras is a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Athens. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an M.Sc. in Nanoscience from the Technical University of Athens (2019). His Master's thesis focused on atmospheric dew water harvesting. He is currently employed as a research associate at the Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, NCSR “Demokritos,” under the supervision of Dr. E. Gogolides. His current research involves the project VASTNESS, carried out in collaboration with the Laboratory of Advanced Functional Materials and Nanotechnology and Assistant Professor K. Ellinas of the University of the Aegean, which aims to develop a passive atmospheric water harvesting (AWH) device.
