His thesis entitled "Evaluation of the antioxidant activity of phenolic derivatives by fluorescence" was held at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of NCSR "Demokritos". This was followed by the fulfillment of his military service obligations, where he gained experience as a chemist. From 2011 to 2014 he worked in the private sector in areas of production and quality control. Since summer 2014, he is a member of Nanofunctional and Nanocomposite Materials Laboratory at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of NCSR "Demokritos". He has worked in various projects such as "PhotoTiGRA" and "IKYDA 2015". Since summer 2018 he works on the "2D Photostructure" project titled "2D Photocatalytic Heterostructures for Air Pollutant Oxidation". In 2020 he completed his PhD entitled "Development of novel photocatalysts with pyrolysis techniques for environmental and energy applications".
