ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

In my scientific career, I have focused on producing innovative experimental and theoretical research in nanophotonics, prioritizing both the quality and significance of the outcomes. I believe that the integration of experiment and theory offers the most comprehensive understanding of physical phenomena and leads to the development of better-optimized devices for scientific and commercial applications. My work spans various areas, including graphene and 2D materials, plasmonics, electron spectroscopies, metamaterials and metasurfaces, dynamically tunable nanophotonics, nonlinear optics, and ultrafast transient photonics. My contributions have led to numerous high-impact publications and conference presentations. I have been honored with prestigious fellowships and scholarships, including the FY2018 JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan, the Reinforcement of Postdoctoral Researchers - 2nd Cycle by IKY, and the ECS/FPSE SOU-SMS JAIST Research Scholarship. I am also actively involved in advancing nanophotonics through collaborations with accomplished researchers in Greece and globally, contributing to several scientific projects.
