Vassileios Papadopoulos was born in 1979, in Athens, Greece.
He received his Diploma on “Electrical and Computer Engineering” from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2004, his M.Sc. degree on “Automation Systems” in 2008 from the School of Mechanical Engineering, NTUA and his M.Sc. degree on “Microsystems and Nanodevices” in 2015, from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, NTUA.

Currently, he is PhD candidate with his thesis entitled “Design and development of a prototype system for rapid DNA amplification in micro-PCR reactors”. He is the author/co-author of 8 publications in in peer-reviewed international journals.
