Helium has a boiling point of ~ -269 ^oC and is the only cryogenic agent to achieve temperatures close to absolute zero (-273.15 ^oC). Such temperatures are absolutely necessary in special applications such as superconducting magnets for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The Helium Liquefaction unit of INN is a unique facility in Greece to provide liquefaction services in large scale.  The activity specializes in providing services to companies involved in the distribution of liquid helium in Greece.
