Analysis and characterization of iron containing materials

Mössbauer Spectroscopy is a powerful technique for the identification of iron containing phases within materials. Small quantities (tens of mg) of sample are required, which can be in powder or other forms. Even liquids can be measured by using cryogenic temperatures. Magnetic materials, pharmaceuticals, ores, catalysts, phases can all be characterised giving information on phase composition and purity, structure, valence, and magnetic state.
