Dr. Orestis Manos is a post-doctoral researcher working at the Magnetic Thin Films and Metamaterials group at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at NCSR «Demokritos».  He graduated from the Physics Department of the University of Athens (BSc 2010, MSc 2013) and pursued his PhD in the field of Spintronic material and devices in the Center for Spinelectronic Materials and Devices (CSMD) at Bielefeld University in Germany (2014-2019). Dr. Manos has extensive experience in the design, fabrication, simulation, and characterization of thin film magnetic material systems and devices for storage, sensor, and energy harvesting applications. He has published 5 papers in international peer-reviewed journals with 66 citations.
