ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY
Christos Kouzios received his Bsc in Physics from the University of Athens. He completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol in Nanoscience and Functional Nanomaterials with a thesis titled “Towards smarter materials: Bottom-up approaches to macroscale functionalities”. Since 2021 he is a research associate at the NCSR 'Demokritos' under the supervision of Dr. Stergiopoulos. His research activity centres around the manufacture and characterisation of perovskite solar cells. It is focused, in particular, on the fabrication of perovskite thin films, their optimisation through the chemical passivation of imperfections in their structure and the optical, electrochemical and morphological characterisation. He is a co-author of a peer-reviewed scientific publication. His research interests include the study and modification of materials with the purpose of conferring new properties and functionalities on them.
