ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

Alexandros Salapatas is a graduate of the School of Pedagogical & Technological Education majoring on Electronics (ASPAITE,2010). He has worked on the photonic lab-on-a-chip paradigm for the last 11 years on several research contracts either on the national or EU commissioned. His latest effort is on technology transfer supporting his team’s commercial exploitation effort.

He has been working on spectra analysis, image processing, real time systems, 2D/3D design & prototyping, data acquisition S/W programs & systems configuration. Also, on video analysis, ML techniques, biometric signals analysis, wearable sensors and 3D Games.

He is a coauthor in 10 publications, 6 conference papers and is a coinventor in 2 patents.
