BIOMINY was aiming to the development of highly personalized implants with increased bioactivity and enhanced mechanical properties for bone tissue regeneration. Within this project the development a) of new generation hybrid biomimetic nanohydroxyapatite/biopolymer bio-implants with increased biocompatibility and bioactivity, b) of personalized 3D nanohydroxyapatite/biopolymer bio-implant to restore large bone loss and 3) of bioactive titanium implants with special nanohydroxyapatite coatings that promote rapid osseointegration were realized.
