The project addresses the development of integrated nanobiosensors that can be used as parts of Lab-on-a-Chip in medicine, the environment and the food industry. These devices use interdigitated nanoscale electrodes made on silicon oxide using lithography techniques. The chemically sensitive materials applied to the substrates are based on graphene and graphene derivatives, and are deposited by micropipette injection. The principle of operation of sensors is mainly based on the change of their electrical conductivity when exposed to chemical gas vapors or biological materials.
