PHOTOsan aims at developing a technology based on heterogeneous photocatalysis and its integration into anaerobic digestion systems to decontaminate the plant's outflows. In particular, it aims at the development and pilot operation of a photocatalytic treatment reactor after connection to a solid separator unit for ultrafiltration and decontamination of the liquid fraction to make it useful for other applications.
