European Researchers’ Night; organised every year in the last Friday of September
The main vehicle for dissemination and outreach activities of INN research is the event of European Researchers’ Night. INN Research Groups participate every year in the event and the Institute opens the labs to the visitors, aiming to raise the awareness of citizens on the scientific topics and projects implemented. Vital role in the events plays the participation of PhD students and Post-graduate researchers that promote their work and experiences to young people (primary and secondary school visitors). In that way, young generation is motivated to explore science and consider a science career, the role of INN research is highlighted and the public recognition of researchers and research centers is enhanced. The exhibits are designed in a way that will attract the involvement of young people and kids. INN participates every year with minimum 8 Research Groups and 10 research labs open for visitors (every second year).
