ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Veziri Charitomeni was born in Athens (1980). She received her diploma from the department of Physics at the University of Patras (2005) and her PhD from the National Technical University of Athens (2012). She has been working at ‘Membranes for Environmental Separations’ Laboratory (MESL), of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Demokritos National Research Center in Athens, from 2006 until today, as a phd student and a post-doctoral research associate. Dr. Veziri research focuses on synthesis and characterization of open microporous crystalline frameworks and porous hybrid structures including zeolites, zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs), and carbon nanostructures for gas adsorption and separation applications. Her work is being published in 16 prestigious scientific journals.
