ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY
Garyfalia (Lina) Nezou holds an Integrated Master’s Diploma (MEng) from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Ioannina. She specialized in Magnetoresistance (MR) and the Anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in Pt/Co/W multilayer thin films, involving extensive use of Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) techniques and working with the Van der Pauw method. Her skill set includes data analysis, with practical experience in handling and interpreting complex datasets. From 2020 to 2025, she worked as a Technical Engineer and Optronic Engineer in industrial companies in Greece. Since May 2025, she has been working as a Research Assistant at NCSR Demokritos (Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology), under the supervision of Dr. V. Tzitzios. Her research focuses on the development of non-rare-earth hard magnetic materials.
