ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

Manolis Chatzigeorgiou graduated the Physics Department of the University of Athens (BSc 2014) and the master program “Mathematical Modelling in Modern Technologies and Financial Engineering” in School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Science of National Technical University of Athens (MSc 2017). He is currently working towards his Ph.D. which concerns the development of a novel characterization technique for new types of clinker combining Scanning Electron Microscopy techniques with X-Ray powder Diffraction Techniques.  His PhD research is funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation Industrial Fellowship program, with the collaboration of Titan Cement Company SA.
