Dr Marcello Casertano holds a Bachelor Degree and a PhD degree (2017-2020)  in Pharmacy from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Naples Federico II, Italy. During his PhD studies he visited for five months (Nov 2018 – March 2019) the laboratory of Photo- Catalytic Processes and Environmental Chemistry at INN, NCSR DEMOKRITOS and received training in chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques. Currently he works as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy.
