ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

Nafsica Mouti obtained her Physics degree at the University of Ioannina (UOI) in 2019, with her BSc thesis based on Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production through Water Splitting via utilization of semiconductive TiO2 nanostructures. Research was principally undertaken at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Materials and Environment of Physics Department in collaboration with the Laboratory of Catalysis at UOI’s Chemistry Department. She is currently enrolled as an MSc student at the “Microsystems and Nanodevices” interdepartmental postgraduate course at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Her MSc thesis  is on "Synthesis and characterization of Spark Discharge generated aerosol nanoparticles, focusing on their deposition on various substrates". Since 2019, she has been a Research Fellow at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN) of the National Center for Scientific Research (N.C.S.R.) “Demokritos”. Moreover, she has accumulated experience in nanomaterials' production and characterization (XRD, Uv-Vis, SEM, EDAX, Contact angle measurements).
