We offer a wide range of services for measuring mechanical properties of all types of materials (ceramics, metals, polymers, composites, natural, etc.) in tension, compression, bending, shear, impact, torsion, creep, LC fatigue, hardness, erosion, abrasion, scratch, crushing, from -196C to 1250C

Tests are carried out with the following facilities (for photos see Facility01), among others:

1) INSTRON 5982, 100kN, double-screw, ultra-high rigidity, electromechanical frame for testing of all materials in tension, compression, shear, flexure, etc.

2) INSTRON 1026, 5kN, double-screw, electromechanical frame (re-built for digital data capture) for tensile tests of soft metals, polymers, composites and natural materials

3) Two creep machines for composite FRP bars in tension up to 150kN and for polymers and composites in flexure to about 10kN

4) High temperature furnace to 1250C for compression and flexure tests

5) Environmental chamber to 200C and 90% humidity

6) Cooling chamber to -30C for testing polymers and composites in tension

7) Low cycle fatigue in bending and torsion of soft metals, polymers, composites and natural materials

8) Pendulum (2.5J) and drop-weight (25J) impact tests of ceramics, polymers and composites in flexure (Charpy or Izod) and 2D compression

9) Toughness tests of all materials under flexure and tension

10) Various wear tests of all materials: erosion, abrasion, scratch, crushing etc.

11) Hardness and microhardness of all types of materials: Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell, Knoop
