The Glass Workshop provides high quality standard and non–standard items, glassware modifications, repairs and custom designs for research needs. 

Applications 

The workshop is working closely with researchers in the design, fabrication and repair of specialty scientific glass instruments including vacuum and low pressure lines. It also provides services to other Institutes of NCSR Demokritos and to outside customers.  

Technical Specifications 

The Glass Workshop has the capacity to work with all types of glass including borosilicate, quartz, aluminosilicate and soft glass and it is fully equipped with annealing ovens, diamond saw and a variety of torches.
