The group uses in-house developed software for the study of optical and elastic waves in complex periodic environments based on multiple scattering theory. Moreover we use commercial (COMSOL Multiphysics) and public domain software for the design and simulation of microstructured surfaces and integrated photonic devices. Additionally in our lab we can characterize plasmonic and dielectric metasurfaces, and integrated photonic devices in the UV-VIS-NIR, using different light sources and photometers, using microscopy setups.
