ABOUT/BIOGRAPHY

Andreas Baltas obtained his Physics degree at the University of Patras in 2019, with bachelor thesis title “HfO2 & Al2O3 growth via ALD – Electrical characterization of Pt/HfO2/Al2O3/p-Ge stacks”. He worked as a trainee at N.C.S.R.”Demokritos”, on composition and electrical characterization of nanostructured materials and devices for Vibrational Energy harvesting from Zinc Oxide (ZnO). He is currently an MSc student at the “Microsystems and Nanodevices” interdepartmental postgraduate course at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is working on his master thesis about CuO and ZnO nanostructures growth and electrical characterization of CuO/ZnO nanodevices at the Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology – NCSR “Demokritos”, under the supervision of Dr Eleni Makarona, Senior Researcher at the same institute.
