Educational Activities
We participate in the graduate program “Physics and technological applications”, co-organized by the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of National Technical University of Athens and NCSR Demokritos. Dr. M. Pissas offers one semester course with title “ELECTROMAGNETISM I. A book 650 pages has been written to help graduate students (is available upon request). We also participate in the graduate course “Experimental methods” of the same graduate program. Michael Pissas is responsible for the experimental lesson Magnetic measurements. A set of notes (150 pages) has been written to help students (is available upon request). Finally, M. Pissas participate in the undergraduate course “Methods of material characterization” (School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of National Technical University of Athens and INN Demokritos). Michael Pissas is responsible for the experimental lesson Magnetic measurements. Under supervision of Dr. M. Pissas a number of Master, diploma and Phd thesis have been completed (see list below).
