Quantum nanoelectronics
(Contact person: P. Dimitrakis)
Recently, we finalized successfully two bilateral joint projects with Russian research labs in the field of Quantum Nanoelectronics. Several combinations of materials such as superconductors, ferromagnetic and normal metals have been used to realize nanowire junctions. It is in our future plans to continue this research together with other groups in INN and Europe, focusing on the design and fabrication of novel Josephson Junctions, CMOS qubit devices, resonators and coupling circuit components. Qubit circuit design is conducted using Qskit Metal from IBM. We are in collaboration with a leading company in EDA tools; a relevant post-doctoral position will open in 2022.
