Gas Chromatography systems
Various GC systems
Gas chromatography (GC) is a separation technique capable of separating highly complex mixtures based primarily upon differences of boiling point/ vapor pressure and of polarity. The systems can be used to separate and detect small molecular weight organic compounds in the gas phase. GC is typically used for the detection of small, volatile and mainly nonpolar compounds in environmental monitoring, food analysis, industrial or other applications.
Various GC system either as stand-alone instruments or as detection units of selectivity/permeability apparatus:
Detectors: FID, TCD, PID etc.
Injection port: automated or manual
Columns: Various polar and non-polar ones, capillary or packed ones
Software: suitable software for the operation the data acquisition and the processing of the data
